Model historie en beschrijving:
Volgens kenners is de 2000 Coupe, door velen ook aangeduid als de Flavia 2000 Coupe, de laatste echte Lancia. Begin jaren zeventig nam Fiat het noodlijdende Lancia over. Niet omdat het grote publiek een Lancia niet goed genoeg vond, ze waren zo goed doordacht en ontworpen dat de productiekosten de auto's te duur maakte en dus commercieel niet interessant voor Fiat. Toch liet Fiat bij gebrek aan een nieuw topmodel de 2000 Coupe in productie gaan. Als gevolg van het forse prijskaartje werden er slechts 1400 van dit type coupe's gebouwd. Juist dat maakt de auto nog interessanter voor wie al viel voor haar schoonheid. Voorzien van technisch vooruit strevende zaken als een subframe, een laag liggende boxer motor, voorwielaandrijving en een betrouwbare ZF versnellingsbak maakte het de 2000 een van de mooiste producten uit de Italiaanse auto industrie van de jaren zestig en zeventig.
Uitrusting:
Aan opties deed men in die tijd niet echt. Hoofdsteunen en bijvoorbeeld dat fraaie houten stuur waren standaard aanwezig.
Exterieur:
Bij aankoop in het zonnige Italië trof ik een roestvrije, harde en strakke carrosserie. Door de jaren heen had de auto wel tal van kleine gebruikssporen en deukjes opgelopen. Om die reden liet ik de auto na aankomst in Nederland geheel nieuw spuiten in de originele donkerblauwe kleur. Vakkundig uitgevoerd werk, de auto heeft een prachtige uitstraling.
Interieur:
Het interieur kreeg een tiental jaren terug nieuwe stof op de stoelen, er werd origineel materiaal en de juiste kleur gebruikt. Ook de originele vorm van de stoelen werd hersteld waardoor ze perfect zitten. Het dashboard, deurpanelen, stuur en bijvoorbeeld hemelbekleding zijn origineel en onbeschadigd. Ook het interieur is een meesterwerk van Pininfarina.
Motorruimte, kofferruimte, velgen & banden:
De motorruimte is geheel origineel en mooi droog. Als gevolg van het bijzondere motorontwerp met liggende zuigers/cylinders ligt de motor extra diep in de auto, een van de bijzondere kenmerken van deze coupe. In combinatie met voorwielaandrijving daardoor ook een stabiel en veilig sturende auto. Duidelijk zichtbaar is het beperkte gebruik van de auto. Alle stickers en plaatjes van de fabriek zijn nog aanwezig.Ook de kofferruimte is nog geheel origineel. Boordgereedschap, krik en reservewiel hier aanwezig.
Service geschiedenis:
Tot voor kort verbleef deze Lancia in het droge zuiden van Toscane. Dankzij garagestalling en beperkt gebruik is de auto roestvrij. Ze is ook altijd schadevrij gebleven. In Italië kende de auto slechts twee eigenaren. Wij bieden de auto aan inclusief Nederlands kenteken in 'oud blauw', nieuwe APK, onderhoudsbeurt en goed rijklaar gemaakt.
