Model historie en beschrijving:
De Fulvia was bij introductie technisch een hoogstaand ontwikkelde auto. De vormgeving echter oogst pas de laatste jaren waardering bij het grote publiek. Daardoor waren ze te lang niet voldoende waard om ze goed te restaureren. Gemiddeld zijn oudere Lancia's zeker niet zo roestgevoelig als men denkt, dat imago hebben ze overgehouden van het tijdperk ruim na 1970 waar Fiat eigenaar werd. Het lakwerk en rubbers zijn wel, althans op de meeste plaatsen in Italië dan, vaak dof en uitgedroogt. Door die geringe waarde, tot een vijf jaar terug, werden echt volledige restauraties matig uitgevoerd dus een origineel exemplaar valt te prefereren. Het hier aangeboden exemplaar is een fraai originele auto die vanwege de leeftijd en zonlicht een keer nieuw is gelakt en voorzien van nieuwe rubbers. Voor het overige is het een subliem originele auto. Kijk eens naar de foto's van de motorruimte, het interieur en kofferbak. Ook deze Fulvia is een heuse tijdmachine. Het is een exemplaar uit de 2e serie met de wat sterkere, gemodificeerde, 90pk motor en een ZF-versnellingsbak met vijf versnellingen. Een zeer goed rijdende Fulvia met een prachtuitstraling. Niet vaak zie ik ze zo. Ik hoop dat u mijn enthousiasme eens komt delen.
Uitrusting:
Opties bestonden destijds niet echt. Er is gelukkig geen lelijke radio in het dashboard geschroefd.
Exterieur:
Prachtige carrosserie. Roestvrij. Perfecte passingen, de deuren sluiten als de spreekwoordelijke kluis. Origineel en strak plaatwerk. Bijzonder mooie en zeldzame kleur Bronzo Longchamp Metallizzato, top spuitwerk. Geen gebruikssporen, geen deukjes en geen krasjes. Door een vakman nieuw gespoten en voorzien van nieuwe raamrubbers. Het chroom en de rvs bumpers zijn onbeschadigd en hebben een mooie glans. De fraaie en zeldzame kleurstelling van deze Fulvia bezorgt de auto een stijlvolle uitstraling.
Interieur:
Binnen in deze Fulvia is het of de tijd heeft stilgestaan. Bijna alle interieurdelen zijn origineel uit 1972. Zo zijn bijvoorbeeld de deurpanelen nog origineel en het dashboard is geheel onbeschadigd. Ondanks de herkomst van deze Fulvia is het dashboard ook niet gekraakt en vertoond het interieur verder geen hitte sporen. Prachtig hout op het dashboard waarin een origineel Jaeger klokje wat werkt en een passende radio. Het interieur is in werkelijkheid wat donkerder bordeaux rood van kleur.
Motorruimte, kofferruimte, velgen & banden:
De motorruimte is volledig origineel en onaangeraakt. Matching motor met Solex carburateurs. Zeer mooi lopende motor. Zichtbaar zorgvuldig onderhouden en mooi droog. Ook hier absoluut geen roest. Origineel typeplaatje en fabriekssticker aanwezig. Ook de kofferbak is fris, schoon en roestvrij. Origineel reservewiel, krik en boordgereedschap hier aanwezig.
Service geschiedenis:
Alleen in Italië vind ik nog exemplaren van dit niveau. Waarmee ik natuurlijk in het bijzonder de kwaliteit van de carrosserie benadruk. Techniek is relatief eenvoudig te herstellen, plaatwerk met roest betekend meestal het einde van de auto. Zeker in een prijsklasse waarin vakkundig restaureren vaak niet in verhouding staat tot de waarde van de auto. Een strakke, harde en roestvrije carrosserie heeft deze stijlvolle Fulvia zeker. De auto werd door de laatste Italiaanse eigenaar meer dan 15 jaar liefdevol verzorgd en gerestaureerd terwijl waar mogelijk de originaliteit werd gerespecteerd. Zo staat er nu een 'tijdmachine' voor u klaar die hoewel uit 1972 slechts enkele jaren oud lijkt, wanneer u de sfeer uit de jaren zestig en zeventig zelf wilt beleven een uitgelezen kans. Ze wordt afgeleverd inclusief klassiek Nederlands kenteken, nieuwe APK en onderhoudsbeurt. Rijklaar zonder bijkomende kosten.
