General description :
MG MGA Roadster welke verkeert in een keurig gerestaureerde conditie! De zeer strakke body met keurige pasvorm oogt fraai in het Old English white Het design van de MGA spreekt nog altijd tot de verbeelding, een zeer elegante lijn met prachtige rondingen. Het oorspronkelijke dateert uit de vroege jaren 50 toen de MG ontwerper Syd Enever een gestroomlijnde koets tekende voor Le Mans rijder George Philips. Destijds werd er gereden met het chassis van een MG T-Type welke niet geschikt bleek en alvorens de MGA in productie ging werd er een volledig nieuw onderstel ontworpen. Het interieur van dit exemplaar werd uitgevoerd in keurig zwart, een mooie kleurstelling! Het oude grote stuurwiel vervaardigd uit bakeliet is aanwezig evenals de schitterende originele klokken in het strakke dashboard. Technisch een heerlijke klassieker om mee te rijden en dankzij een prima comfort uiterst geschikt voor langere ritten. De 1600 cc motor beschikt over voldoende vermogen en loopt uitstekend. Het 1600 model was voor het eerst uitgerust met schijfremmen, wat een duidelijke verbetering was ten opzichte van de trommel remmen. Het zogenaamde 'weather equipment' is compleet met een tonneau cover, softtop en ook zijramen. De originele velgen met bijbehorende wieldoppen geven de auto een authentieke jaren 60 uitstraling.
