Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1952 MG TD Tribute Convertible. The MG cars are often replicated or tributes made to them via kits. The donor car for the tribute was a 1973 Ford Pinto Runabout and is titled as a '73 Ford. Pretty much everything but the Pinto body is harvested for the conversion kit. The steel Pinto shell is removed in favor of a much lighter fiberglass body for the MG. The drastic reduction in weight certainly helps for a more robust and spirited drive. The red paint looks good and shows well. The black soft top functions manually with ease and is in good shape. Inside you'll find red vinyl seats to match the exterior and they are in good order. The iconic dash brings the gauges right to you and is certainly part of the design and times. Powering this MG Tribute is a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Car runs and drives out well. Current owner has had her for over 1.5 years, acquired from a local private owner. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Options on this MG TD Tribute include: Vinyl Interior, Manual Convertible Top, Hub Caps, and Bias Ply Tires.
