Coilover shocks are at all 4 corners, and its massive Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (225/35-ZR19 front, 295/30-ZR20 rear) wrapped around the Budnik billet wheels (19" front, 20" rear) all contribute to enabling this vintage hotrod to handle like a modern sports car. Power steering is there to help aid low-speed maneuverability, but it's doubtful you'll spend much time going slow! Don't worry if you get going too quickly because of the surge of adrenaline that will get to your right foot - your left foot can stab the slow pedal, and the multi-piston Wilwood brake calipers will grab the massive rotors (drilled/slotted up front, drilled out back) and haul you back to legal numbers in no time. Open the custom, shaved handle suicide doors, and the coolness continues...Inside, you'll find a completely custom interior, with plenty of creature comforts. A fully-polished Colorado Custom tilt-adjustable steering column is topped by a billet steering wheel, and the dash sports a full set of AutoMeter ProComp gauges to both keep the driver informed of critical vehicle systems, as well as to further the high-performance street rod motif. If the driver (or more likely the passenger) ever tire of the V8's rumble, there's a custom dual-DIN Kenwood touch screen head unit, with AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth compatibility. Während des Krieges Ford vollständig abgeschaltet zivilen Fahrzeugproduktion um alle Ressourcen für die alliierten Kriegsanstrengungen zu widmen (1942-1945) Sie verwendet werden, um B-24 Bomber, Flugzeugmotoren, Jeeps zu bauen, M-4 Panzer, Militärfahrzeuge und Bren-gun Netzbetreibern und mehr als 30.000 turbogeladene Rolls Royce Merlin V-12-Motoren für Mosquito und Lancaster-Bomber als auch P-51 Mustang Kämpfer. Im Laufe der Jahre wuchs die Ponys einige Muskeln, bis der Ölkrise zu töten tötete sie schließlich ab.
In den sechziger Jahren stürzte Ford in internationalen Motorsport-Szene mit einer Wut. Nach erfolglosen Ferrari Nahme, als Enzo Ferrari hatte den Deal mit Henry Ford II, daß letzterer vor Wut kochen absolut abgeschnitten, wandte sich Ford zu Lola in Großbritannien zu produzieren einen Ferrari nach dem Spiel gegen Langstreckenfahrer . Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ford und Lola erstellt den mächtigen Ford GT40, die absolut zu schlagen Ferrari in Le Mans 24 mehrfach.
In Europa führte Ford einige der epischen Rennen und Rallye-Autos der 60er Jahre auf der Grundlage bescheidenen Familie Limousinen; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam und Escort 1600RS mit den ikonischen Cosworth BDA Motoren.
