Mehr Motorsport fürs Geld geht nicht.Dieser für die Rundstrecke vorbereitete Citroen AX 1,3 Sport konnte bereits beweisen, was in ihm steckt. Konkurrenten vom Schlage eines Alfa GTA/GTV, Jaguar XJ/ R, wurden eindrucksvoll gleich reihenweise beim letzten Klassikstadt-Rennen „vernascht“. Sorry für die gestohlene Show. Das Erfolgsrezept geht auf Collin Chapman zurück „mehr PS macht das Auto auf der Graden schneller, weniger Gewicht macht das Auto überall schneller“ .Ganze 595 Kilo (abhängig von Flüssigkeitsständen) in Verbindung mit 84 kw/115 PS ergeben 5,2 KG / PS oder 7 KG / kw. Die Gesetze der Physik tuen eindrucksvoll ihre Wirkung. Neue Semi-Slicks sorgen für die Bodenhaftung, eine neue Rennschale mit 6 Punkt-Gurt für den notwendigen Seitenhalt. Es gibt einen deutschen KFZ-Brief für das Fahrzeug. Mit etwas Aufwand lässt sich sicher wieder eine Straßenzulassung erreichen, ohne den Renncharakter zu verwässern.

About Citroen
French industrialist André Citroën had been building arms for the French army during WWI by the end of the war he was left with great industrial facilities but no product for the post war market. In 1919 he founded Citroen that became the first mass-production car company outside the USA[3] and a pioneer of the modern marketing as well as factory backed services network. Mind you, even Eiffel Tower served as a billboard for Citroën from 1925 to 1934 -Mon Dieu, monsier!
