General description : Dies ist die absolute Krönung der Jaguar XK Modellreihe die ja bekanntlich mit dem XK 120 begann, dann folgte der XK140 und final der XK 150. Von allen drei Serien gab es jeweils ein Coupé, ein Cabrio und einen Roadster, der natürlich der Star war und auch weitaus am begehrtesten ist, was ja auf Grund seiner sensationellen Linienführung auch nicht wirklich verwunderlich ist. Jetzt gab es vom XK 150 Roadster nochmals eine Steigerung, den ganz seltenen "S". Wenn Sie jetzt nochmals alles toppen möchten, können Sie nur noch den von uns angebotenen Jaguar kaufen, denn den hat sich ein Sammler 1991 aus USA nach Deutschland geholt und bis 1996 restauriert und optimiert ohne auf Kosten und Aufwand zu schauen, natürlich alles mit Bildern und Rechnungen belegt. So hatte der Wagen die ganz seltene Originalservolenkung (hydraulisch) was ja mal zu einem bequemen Fahren beiträgt. Der Sammler wollte ein alltags- und langstreckentaugliches Fahrzeug und hat deshalb mal ganz vorne angefangen, indem er den serienmäßigen 3,4 l Motor durch einen neu gebauten 4,2 l Jaguarmotor mit 3 Vergasern ersetze, dem Wagen ein 5-Gang-Getrag-Getriebe spendierte, eine Edelstahlauspuffanlage inkl. Edelstahlfächerkrümmer, Zusatzlüfter, Drehstromlichtmaschine, wunderschöne Daytona Rudge ZV Räder verchromt in 6X16 mit Reifen 21565R16, ein Sonnenlandverdeck, ein eigens angefertigtes wunderschönes Armaturenbrett in Vollholz (das gab es so serienmäßig nie), natürlich ein Radio, zeitgenössische Stopuhren und und und . Das Ergebnis ist schlicht beeindruckend und der einzige Grund sich von so einem Schätzchen zu trennen,sind halt das Alter des Besitzers (90 Jahre!). Er fuhr ihn noch letztes Jahr und der Abschiedsschmerz war deutlich sichtbar, aber was gesundheitlich nicht mehr geht sollte man auch nicht mehr machen. Pflegen Sie ihn genau so weiter und Sie haben einen Lebensbegleiter, der Sie sicherlich bei jeder Ausfahrt freut und überzeugt.
